The question

Can transport become calmer without becoming autonomous?

Most attempts to remove stress from driving remove the driver. KindRoad asks a smaller, harder question: how much friction can be taken out of a working day using nothing more than better decisions, made earlier, with honest evidence.

Current research strands

  • Operational friction

Measuring the difference between a planned day and a lived one, and which parts of that gap were avoidable.

  • Charger congestion

Queues are a coordination failure, not a capacity failure. What happens when vehicles are staggered rather than sent to the nearest pin?

  • Cooperative routing

If two fleets share what they saw, both make better decisions. What is the smallest amount of shared data that produces that effect?

  • Journey confidence

Confidence is not accuracy. What makes a driver believe an answer enough to act on it?

  • Infrastructure awareness

Roads, bays, gates and barriers change constantly and nobody records it. Who should?

  • Human-centred mobility

Reducing pressure on the person driving, without monitoring, scoring or ranking them.

What today's data contributes

Every completed journey teaches One Fleet something about school holidays, roadworks, weather, charger behaviour, traffic patterns, typical queue times and vehicle efficiency. No extra work for the driver. KindRoad exists to ask what that evidence could eventually make possible.
